Fire Spread across an Aer Lingus at Orlando International

Two persons got injured yesterday at Orlando International Airport after a fire spread out during do loading of cargo to an Airbus A330-200 operated by Aer Lingus.

The fire started in a piece of ground equipment but for safety reasons the aircraft was grounded for further assessment of the damage leaving 193 passengers stranded.

Ate the start of the fire passengers were already aboard of in the process of boarding but the plane was evacuated with all passengers and crew safe.

The two handlers were the only injuries of this accident that resulted in severe burns and one of them broke a leg while tried to jump out of the platform.
