TAP Express ATR 72-600 Nose Gear collapse on Landing

A TAP Express ATR 72-600 from Porto Airport suffered a nose gear collapse on landing at Humberto Delgado Airport Lisboa after experiencing strong wind gusts and heavy rain during landing.

None of the 24 on board suffered injuries and the aircraft suffered substantial damage on the nose gear. After being towed to TAP Maintenance Hangars the runway was opened again a normal operations resumed.

The ATR 72-600 is property and is operated by White Airways for TAP there are 8 aircraft of this model operated by White for TAP.

The Brand TAP Express also flies with Embraer E-190 operated by PGA Portugália Airlines and both fleets operate on the smaller routes of TAP.

The aircraft involved has the registration CS-DJF.
